Here is a poem my dad wrote. I don't just think it's a good poem because my dad wrote it. It really is a good poem. Go read it. Slowly. And consider it.
Today I learnt some things about poetry. Well, I already knew of the iambic pentameter, but I hadn't really taken it seriously when writing. Now I shall write slower and not just because I've woken up at 5am and seen the sunrise.

Your Dad is the Author of Australian kids books? He is an American citizen?

Hi Justin,
Yes, he does write and illustrate Aussie kids books, along with my mum. Have you seen them in the US?
He was born in the US, but has lived here for about 25 years.

No. But I have two kids who would like them if I found them here. I might look.
It looks like you have a fascinating family. After I read the poem, I Googled him thinking that he may have written some more. And found the kids books etc.
