Would Your Rather (1)...
...be blown up like a balloon into an almost spherical shape bar your tiny arms, legs and head...
OR
almost two dimensionally flat like Flat-Stanley?

I'd pick the former option. Provided i could bounce around like a balloon. Would that be possible?

Yes, you'd be bouncy.

Definitely the former then. What would you choose?

Being rolled flat has its advantages. I could hide from people by standing side-on to them. And I could be sneaky and crawl under doors. Also, international travel would be cheap, since I could just roll up like parchment and slip into someone's suitcase.
So the latter.

But the former could be like go go gadget coat and you could fly there yourself

The practicality of being two-dimensional is very limited. I mean, where would all the food go? How would you support yourself. Really. It is just too impractical.
Just imagine the farting capabilities if you were blown up so round...

Well... Since you'd be so flat, you wouldn't weigh much so you would have a pretty low metabolism. So you wouldn't have to eat very much. So there wouldn't be much food to "go where".
As for movement and support, I ask you this, how do towers stay up? You're an engineer. You should know that things that are tall and thin can still stay up. It's all about structure. Maybe you'd have bendy feet and you'd sway about. Figuring this out can be your next project.

Come on, I'm not an engineer yet... and I won't get there either at the rate I'm going with this study business...
You want your centre of gravity to be as low as possible... No, I'm sorry, it's just got to work. I've learnt that you have to learn when to say "no". I'm saying "no". Hear me loud and clear. NO.
Anyway, why would you not want to eat much? What a stupid idea. Food is good. Another reason to say no.
Hmmph.
