Now this doesn't beg the question.
YES! YES! YES! I am so happy. A website after my own heart!
I think I've blogged about this before as one of "those things that get my goat". It's when people use the phrase "that begs the question" incorrectly. I thought it was just me who was bothered by this, but apparently there's enough people frustrated by the abuse of the phrase to have a website devoted to campaigning its correct usage.
Yay! I'm so glad there are other people on board.
Update: Even Dinosaur Comics are with me on this one. Yes, language does evolve, but we can (and should) be discriminating about the idea.

A whole website dedicated to a misused phrase...some people have too much time! I can imagine some little geek chuckling away to himself as he made that site.

I'm glad some people have too much time! Who else would be able to make websites about misusing an important philosophical term? Good on that little geek.

It begs the question, why bother?

Which in turn "raises" the question, why bother having a blog?
If the aforementioned little geek feels strongly about the misused phrase, isn't that reason enough to bother?
