1. There was a show on midgets (actually, dwarfs) on ABC tonight; "Little People". Trying to show dwarfs as "normal". Ironically, they're still capitalizing on midgets-are-a-freakshow.

It's strange that "dwarf" is the politically correct term. If I was a little person, I would prefer to be refered to as a "midget" or maybe "mini-boy".
Also, if dwarves are people too, why then do they persist in calling them by the name of a mythical creature?
