A Little Update from a Big State

At an authentic Southern restaurant in Austin. Drinking lemonade from a jug or "picture" as it was served.

At Seth's work just after he's knocked off. That's Seth's friend Natalie at the table. She's great.

I saw this in a Christian bookshop in Dallas. Funny to me. Christian bookshops in Dallas are a sad state of affairs; mostly fluff, little meat.

At an "authentic" Ossie pub. On the vast menu, there were only 3 real Aussie food items; a vegimite sanga, a meat pie and an Oz burger. Seth ordered the meat pie and it was all kinds of wrong. Everything else on the menu was true-blue American with Australian names like Towoomba Chicken Fried Steak.

I think I see Tasmania on the pub sign map. :-)
